This document is prepared for use as a Shopify policy page and customer-facing legal reference. It is drafted for a UK-based online
apparel business selling made-to-order products fulfilled by third-party production partners.
1. Overview
Birdie Hut products are made to order. This means that returns, exchanges and cancellations may be limited,
particularly where products are personalised, customised or produced specifically for a customer.
This policy does not affect statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to
meet legal requirements.
2. Made-to-Order Products
Our products are produced after an order is placed. Where items are personalised, customised or made
specifically for a customer, the standard statutory cancellation right may not apply.
3. Return Requests
To request a return, customers must email cmwr.81@gmail.com within 7 calendar days of receiving the order.
Return requests should include the order number, customer name, product details and reason for the return
request.
4. Return Condition
Unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, returned items must be unworn, unused, unwashed, free
from stains, odours, marks, damage or misuse, and returned with original labels and packaging where applicable.
We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions.
5. Incorrect Sizing
Customers are responsible for reviewing size guides and selecting the correct size before ordering. Due to the
made-to-order nature of our products, returns or exchanges for incorrect sizing may be refused unless required by
law.
6. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If an item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrectly manufactured, misprinted, incorrect or materially different from the
item ordered, customers must contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Customers should provide the order number, a description of the issue and clear photographic evidence. Once
verified, we may provide a replacement, refund, store credit or other appropriate remedy.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Customers are advised to use a tracked service. We are not responsible for returned items lost or damaged in
transit.
8. Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Original shipping
charges are non-refundable unless required by law.
9. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects statutory rights under UK consumer law. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods
must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
